Phase II braces—different by design
Elegant in its form and pure in its function, the patented Fastbraces® bracket
infuses innovation and embodies the brand’s celebration of its promise to the
patient. The elevated slot and unique elbow design move the crown and root
of the tooth at the same time, using just one square wire.
Around the age of 12, when all permanent teeth have erupted in the patient’s
mouth and if they are crooked, it may be time for braces. Our patented design
uses a unique, triangular shaped brace that typically allows us to use just
one orthodontic wire during the patient’s treatment, whereas old technology
braces usually require a series of wires and tightening procedures.
Fastbraces® work on a different mechanical principle altogether.
Traditional braces typically move the crown of the tooth in the first year,
and the root of the tooth in the second year, thus requiring two years of braces
treatment. Fastbraces® are specially designed to move the crown and root
of the teeth at the same time, from the beginning of the treatment. Patients
can now get results, and often with less sensitivity, in about 1 year, and
in some instances just a few months.
